Brooke Cooper graduated from Northern Kentucky Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2016. During law school, she work extensively in the field of juvenile law. Beginning in May 2014, Brooke joined CLC as an IOLTA fellow, where she remained until December 2015. Her work with CLC included a successful appeal to the Kentucky Court of Appeals and advocacy on behalf of homeless youth in Northern Kentucky. During 2015, Brooke worked as a certified legal intern with the Children's Law Center of California, where she took on individual clients and provided direct representation in the GAL capacity in the Los Angeles dependency court. Starting in January 2016, Brooke completed a semester in practice at the Hamilton County Public Defender's Office, Juvenile Court Division, working under a certified legal intern license. She also externed with the Kentucky Innocence Project during fall 2014 through spring 2015. She has three rescue dogs and an amazing fiance.
