Chelsea began her work with children as a preschool teacher while obtaining her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky. After graduating magna cum laude, Chelsea moved to northern Kentucky to attend law school at Salmon P. Chase College of Law. While attending law school, Chelsea participated in the Children’s Law Center Clinic, representing youth in status offense hearings, custody cases and educational matters. Chelsea continued her work with the Children’s Law Center as a law clerk where she assisted in juvenile delinquency hearings, and helped organize juvenile defender trainings in both Indiana and Ohio. After graduating magna cum laude from Chase, Chelsea began working for the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board in Frankfort, Kentucky where she prosecutes cases of educator misconduct.
