Mary B. Thrun
Mary has been with the Children’s Law Center since the spring of 2004 where she served as a volunteer before assuming full development responsibilities in January 2005. Mary’s previous work has been with the Office of U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell where she served for six years as his Field Representative serving 21 counties in the northern part of the state of Kentucky before assuming the position of Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Thomas More College, from 1990-1998. In 1998 she was asked to serve as the Chief Development Officer for the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens until late 2000 before going into consulting work which took her for several years working with Communities In Schools National in Alexandria, Virginia.
Throughout her career in fundraising and development Mary has served on numerous boards including the Governing Board of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Board Member and Chairman of the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky Foundation member of St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Member of the Judicial Nominating Commission.
