Sydney Pepper Ballachino is Development Director at Children's Law Center, overseeing CLC's fundraising and development activities. Sydney leads the strategy for securing gifts from individual, corporate, family, and foundation donors, coordinates grant applications and reporting, and organizes CLC's fundraising events, including its large annual event. She also works closely with the Board of Directors on donor engagement and contributes to public relations efforts across the newsletter, media, and website.
Before joining CLC, Sydney worked in development and grants roles at the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, the American Sign Museum, and the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. She shifted from the arts sector to human and social services in 2021 to better serve her passion for equity and justice for individuals in Greater Cincinnati and beyond.
Sydney graduated magna cum laude from the University of Cincinnati with an MA in Arts Administration and an MBA. She currently serves as Co-VP of Membership for the AFP of Greater Cincinnati Chapter and as a consultant for The Gena Branscombe Project.
Sydney resides in Cincinnati with her spouse and their two cats.
